If you sign in

You sign in at games.furysting.com, never here. That site tells this one your Fury Sting account number, your playing name and your picture, in a signed cookie (fs_id). This site keeps the name and picture so the boards can show them, and the account number to know which results are yours. It never sees your email address or password.

Every puzzle played

For every puzzle handed out, this site keeps: the game, the level, daily or practice, when it began and ended, the result, and your account number if you were signed in. To count plays for the studio's usage page it also keeps a random id made up by your browser (not a person — clear your browser and you are someone new), a scrambled form of your network address that cannot be turned back into it, the kind of device, operating system and browser, the site you came from (its name only), your language and time zone.

In your browser

This site keeps in your browser's storage: that random id, the puzzle you are in the middle of (so a reload picks it up), your last level in each game, your best results when playing offline, and whether you turned the sound off or chose light or dark.

Nobody else

No advertising, no analytics service, no tracking. The type, sounds and code are all served from this site. The only other site involved is games.furysting.com, for signing in.

Leaderboards

Results played while signed in appear on public boards under your playing name and picture. Change those on your Fury Sting profile and the boards follow.
